Our drip coffee bags are the simplest way to have great coffee on the go, and fast. The bags contain a specialty arabica coffee, Ethiopian Aricha Grade 1, kept fresh in a nitrogen flushed sachet. All you have to do is rip open the sachet, tear the top of the drip bag, fold out the wings over the edge of your cup or mug and pour.
Fast, simple and beautiful. You can take them anywhere, all you need is to add hot water. It is no fuss brewing.
About the Coffee-
A stunning Grade 1 coffee from the Aricha washing station in the village of
Edido, near the town of Yirgacheffe. The coffee is grown in rich red brown clay soil about 1.5m deep.
Lot Name: Aricha
Farms: Small farms of about half a hectare from around the village of Edido which is 8km from the town of Yirgacheffe
Altitude: 1850 – 1880m
Tasting Notes: Apricot, red grape, dark chocolate.
Processing: The coffee is pulped, separating the skin and under ripe cherries in a flotation tank. The coffee is then put into fermentation tanks with fresh spring water for 72 hours and the water is changed 3 times. After this, the mucilage is clean and then the fermented coffee is released.
Then the coffee goes into soaking tanks for around 10-16 hours, then it is processed down to parchment and, while drying, is stirred to aid even drying for around 10-12 days.
