This coffee comes from the Sidamo region of Southern Ethiopia. Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and for this reason Ethiopian coffees have always had a bit of magic about them. This coffee is a natural process coffee and is a combination of many small farms and a mixture of varietals.
It has a striking blueberry/raspberry aroma and this transfers into the cup. It works well in a pour over but also makes for a good black espresso coffee with a crisp, clean finish.
