This limited run coffee comes from the Mantiqueira region of Brazil. One of the most famous coffee growing areas in Brazil. It is grown by fourth generation coffee growers the Coli family. In this case it is the farm run by “the mother” Adila Periera Coli. It is a yellow bourbon variety, natural process coffee.
We also have another coffee from the adjacent farm, Sitio do Torre, grown by Adila’s son Alvaro. This give us a rare opportunity to offer two coffees to taste side by side that vary in processing method (pulp natural process in the case of Alvaro’s Coffee) and varietal with the same growing conditions.
This coffee is a mild coffee, smooth with a lovely sweet caramel flavour when tasted with milk. It has a dark chocolate finish and subtle floral notes when served black.
