More about this coffee blend and its origins

Our 2026 Christmas Blend is here, bringing a fresh twist to a festive favourite. This year, we’ve given our usual Christmas pudding flavour profile a rest and created something perfect for a hot Aussie Christmas.

Featuring coffees from two of our favourite producers, our 2026 Christmas Blend evokes creamy pavlova topped with strawberries, mango and passionfruit, washed down with a chilled glass of sparkling shiraz. Roasted light, to allow these flavours to shine, it’s our take on Christmas, full of summer flavours.

The first coffee in this year’s Christmas Blend was processed at the famous Asman Gayo Mill in the Aceh province of northern Sumatra by Cup of Excellence winner Asman Arianto.

Featuring coffee grown in Pantan Musara village, about an hour from the mill, this natural processed lot is bursting with tropical fruit and berry notes, such as strawberry, mango and juicy red grapes.

The second coffee in this year’s blend comes from Manos Juntas Micromill in Sotará, in Colombia's Cauca region.

The team there developed a special process for this lot, including a 5-day anaerobic ferment of the in-tact cherries, while infusing them with nitrogen gas to stimulate the natural microbes on the coffee. The cherries were then chilled to lock in the flavour, and slow-dried in solar driers for thirty-five days.

This lot contributes tantalising notes of passionfruit and spiced apple, along with a pleasant booziness and gentle oaky tannins, giving the blend a full mouthfeel and its red wine finish.

It's Christmas in a cup!
